Pregnancy after Thermachoice

A year ago I had a Thermachoice procedure. I just took an ept and I'm pregnant. Will I be able to have this baby?

Dear Kelly,

Thermachoice is a treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding. It is only supposed to be used by women who have no desire to become pregnant in the future because it can affect fertility. You need to talk to the doctor who performed the Thermachoice procedure and have a blood pregnancy test and additional evaluation to make sure that this is not an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. Call the doctor (or your regular doctor) tomorrow and get this checked out.
