Conceiving after methotrexate
Hi,
I had an ectopic pregnancy treated on 20 October 2005 by one dose of methotextrate. How long do I have to wait before I can start trying to get pregnant again. I would rather be safe than sorry and lose another baby.

Dear Ros,
Most doctors recommend waiting at least 3 months before trying again (because of theoretical side effects of methotrexate). Be sure to start on prenatal vitamins before you begin trying.
