Computers in pregnancy

Hi Dr. Amy,

I've just found out I'm pregnant (probably 4/5 weeks) and use a computer at work all day and a laptop at home (on my lap as I don't have a table as such - yet) for 2/3 per night. Please can you let me know if this is safe?.

As far as I can determine, there is no evidence that computer use has any effect on pregnancy.
