Pregnancy after tubal ligation

I am 30 years old and I've had a tubal ligation and a uterine thermal ablation. I have had regular periods for the past year and a half and the past two months my periods have been late or longer than usual and my breasts became tender. A few weeks ago I noticed colostrum coming from my nipples and I've been very nauseated and "feel" like I'm pregnant. I took a home urine test and that came back positive but then I had a blood test and that came back neg. Is it possible that one of the tests are wrong or is there something else that can cause the symptoms of preg but not be pregnant. I'd appreciate any input you have, thank you.

Dear Amanda,

It is very important that you talk to your doctor about the positive pregnancy test. The fact that the home test was positive and the blood test was negative may mean that you had a very early miscarriage, but you should not have been able to get pregnant at all. It may be that your tubal ligation has become undone and this should be investigated.
