My husband and I are trying to have a baby and yesterday we had sex without protection. We had had sex a couple of times before that. He told me that it isn't very likely to get pregnant after like the second time. Is this true? When I woke up the day after I had some kind of discharge all the way down my leg. Is this normal and what does it mean?

Dear Haley,

You can get pregnant any time you have sex, even if you've recently had sex before. The discharge you noticed may just have been semen. This is very common and does not reduce your chances of getting pregnant.
