Getting pregnant before first period

Can you get pregnant if you have never had a period before?

Dear X,

Yes, you certainly can. That's because you get pregnant when you ovulate (release an egg), and you ovulate for the first time two weeks before your first period. If you want to keep from getting pregnant, you must always use birth control.
